The Firehouse Film Series

Interested in community events local to the Happy Valley neighborhood? The Firehouse Film Series has returned for its second season, and there are two chances left to catch a movie with your neighbors.

For lovers of fantasy, “Big Fish” plays at 1314 Harris Avenue on Thursday Nov. 29. The film starts at 7 p.m., but the website says to come early to guarantee your spot.

As the holidays creep closer, the Firehouse offers a holiday movie to end its film season. “Scrooged” will be shown on Thursday Dec. 13 also at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $5 and everyone is encouraged to attend and bring their friends. Money made from ticket sales goes directly back into the Firehouse Performing Arts Center to enable events like the film series to continue. This event is sponsored by Fairhaven Pizza, Trek Video, and The Table

For information on additional events and classes, visit The Firehouse Performing Arts Center website.
